Get Found

Your first step online. A clean, honest website that tells people who you are, what you offer, and how to reach you — built for the Algoma region, set up so Google knows you exist.

Everything you need to show up online — nothing you don't

  • Home, About, Services or Products, Gallery or Portfolio, and Contact. Designed to look great on phones and laptops alike. Built on WordPress so it's easy to manage.

  • When someone nearby searches for what you do, your business shows up on the map. Hours, photos, phone number, directions — all set up and verified.

  • Your site is written and structured so Google understands what you do and where you are. No black magic — just the fundamentals done right so you rank for searches in your area.

  • Most people will find you on their phone. Your site looks sharp and loads fast on every screen size — tested before handover.

  • You provide the copy, or we write it together — not boilerplate filler. We talk about your business, I write it up in plain language that sounds like you, and you approve it before anything goes live.

  • A simple contact form that sends enquiries straight to your inbox. Optional: help setting up a professional email address on your own domain (e.g. you@yourbusiness.ca).

  • Before I leave, we sit down together and I show you how to update your own content — change a photo, update your hours, add a news post. You leave confident, not dependent.

From handshake to live website in a few weeks

1. We have a coffee

We will meet in person. We talk about your business, your customers, and what you want people to do when they find your site. No forms, no briefs — just a conversation.

2. I build it

Once the quote is finalized. I write the copy, design the pages, and set everything up. You'll get a preview link to review before anything goes live. Your feedback shapes the final result.

3. We review together

We go through the site together — in person or on a call — and I make any final changes. You sign off when you're happy. Not before.

4. You go live — and stay in control

Your site launches. I train you to update it yourself. I set up your Google Business Profile. You walk away with a live website and the confidence to run it.

The honest bit

This package is a starting point, not the finish line.

The Get Found package is designed for businesses that don't have any online presence yet — or have something outdated that's doing more harm than good.

It will enable customers to find you, contact you, and book appointments with you, but it won't let customers buy directly from your site. That's intentional. A lot of businesses aren't quite ready for the cost of that step, and there's real value in getting the basics right first.

But once you're live and comfortable, the natural next move is adding an online store — so customers who find you on Google can buy from you right then and there, even at 11pm on a Sunday.

About half the clients who start here upgrade to an e-commerce build within the first year. There's no pressure, and having worked with me once will save you on the cost of the full store if you decide to go that route.

FAQ

Things people usually ask

  • Not much. I'll interview you about your business and write the copy from that conversation. If you have photos, great — share them. If not, I can help you take some decent ones with your phone, or suggest a local photographer.

  • You do, completely. The domain, the hosting account, the website files — all in your name. I'm never a gatekeeper between you and your own site.

  • There will be ongoing costs to keep your site online. You will know all current and future costs right from the start.

  • You will have opportunities to approve the site before it goes live. Once you approve the site to go live you are able to make updates yourself — that's part of the training. For bigger changes, I offer a Monthly Care Plan that covers ongoing updates, technical support, and regular check-ins. Or you can hire me for one-off changes as needed.

  • This package works for refreshes too. We'll talk about what you have, what's working, and what needs to change. In some cases a full rebuild is the right call; in others, a few targeted updates do the job.
